How to Study like a Slytherin

★ You like to see how much you can get done in a day.

★ Set goals! You have clear goals that you can work towards.

★ You handwrite your notes and sometimes rewrite them.

★ You do homework the day it’s given.

★ You study the concepts first so you can understand the finer details later.

★ You drink coffee. (but remember to eat too otherwise you’ll get jittery)

★ You set your goals high but but I also want to recommend making sure your expectations are realistic so you often surprise yourself by doing better than you expected (but also you don’t feel defeated if you don’t completely achieve the high bar you’ve set for yourself).

★ You’re on good terms with everyone in class so if you need additional resources, you know who to call.

★ You do a little schoolwork every day.

★ Lots of self-imposed deadlines.

★ You turn your fear of failure into motivation to do well.

★ You re-work or double check your answers.

★ You minimize distractions.

★ You don’t rush things.

★ You listen to lyric-less music.

      1. Yup! For I awhile I figured it was that or Ravenclaw but especially since I’ve made it out of my teens, the Slytherin traits slowly began to show. Also the pottermore quiz was like “nah, you snake gal.” And I’m totally cool with that.

      2. Same! The Pottermore quiz is by far the best; all the others have such cliched answer options that focus on the bad points of being a Slytherin. We’re smart, not necessarily conniving. (Well, maybe just a little conniving.) Snake gals for the win!

      3. Exactly. Or they’re painfully obvious as so what answer goes to which house. The questions are like:
How do you spend your weekend?
        A. Punching walls heroically
        B. Hanging out with my friends and eating sandwiches
        C. Studying.
        D. Green

Like gee, I wonder which answer goes with which house? It’s a mystery,

      4. I dunno, that Green option is pretty tricky. 😂 And what if I like eating sandwiches while punching walls? Then my result is skewed. I saw your new MBTI post today. I’m excited for this series!

      5. I guess eating sandwhiches while puching walls would make you a… Gryffinpuff?
Or what if I like to eat sandwhiches, punch walls in between my study breaks while wearing green?? I guess that means I’m a SlytherGryffinPuffClaw.
So glad you’re excited for the new series! I’m excited to work on it and get to know all the MBTI types!

      6. To be honest, Gryffinpuff sounds more like a breakfast cereal than a house. But Huffledor is…almost worse?
I know it’s going to be good! Everyone in my family is a different type, so it’ll be fun to see how the prompts match up.
