Using My AU/Story Generator to Make Prompts

Hello, lovelies! Hope you are doing well this fine morning.

Today, I have a sort of out of the ordinary post though it is somewhat writing related. I am going to be using my “AU/Story Generator” to generate some fun little ideas for stories and then writing full prompts based on whatever it spits out.

You can find the generator I’m using here.

The idea is it gives an interesting character design and story concept that a writer or artist can start with. If you’re still confused as to what’s going, hopefully it makes more sense as we go along.

Alright! Onto the first idea!

Oooh! What an interesting first prompt. I can already picture this prompt!

A Team of 7 spies. Each with a strength in a different area. Lust uses her powers of seduction to achieve her goal. Wrath will brawl it out till they get their desired outcome. Envy uses her powers of mind games and manipulation to complete her missions (she and Lust get along pretty well I imagine). Greed… well, I’m sure you can already picture him. He has copious amounts of money and resources to get what he wants. Pride is quite the leader, planning operations to the most minute of details. After all, every mission reflects on him. Gluttony is the team supplier. Close friends with Greed, she makes sure the team is supplied with more than enough ammo and weapons. She always has snacks in her office too so everyone loves to stop by. And finally, Sloth. Sloth is probably one of the most skilled of the bunch in a variety of areas but getting him to do anything is like pulling teeth. So he works as the tech operative, preferring the comforts of the team base and coaching everyone from afar. He could be excellent at his job if he cared even a little.

Well that was fun! Onto the next prompt!

This one almost sounds like a humorous children’s book. But this is how I imagine it goes down…

The Mythical Beasts live harmoniously in a forest, enjoying their day to day life. One day the Dragon, on the hunt for something shiny, comes across a weird sort of machine. He calls his friends to gather ’round and inspect the object. The Wise Unicorn couldn’t even make out what it was. But, as one of the creatures noses around on it, a flash of light causes them to flinch as the small group of fantastic beasts are sent back in time…

I already want to make a cute children’s book based on this with adorable illustrations.

One more idea to go!

Oh. Oh I adore this one. I picturing an absolute romp of an Urban Fantasy story. In a world where the fantastic and the modern live side by side….

Fairies have taken over the world. No one is surprised by this. It was only a matter of time. Generations later, Fae and humans have fully integrated together, living peaceably and going about their day to day life. At least for the most part. Fae are tricksters after all…

Some Fae resent having to share the modern world with the humans. This resentment results in the exchanging of laced potions, poisoning the buyers or having odd or adverse affects on the user. Other Fae use the fine print of contracts to bind humans into servitude under them forever. And that’s just the beginning. The crimes of Fae against humanity continue to grow. A solution needs to be found.

And this solution comes in the form of a duo. One fairy and one human work alongside each other in the police force, specializing in Fae-Human crime. But will this pair be able to get along long enough to stop such a crime wave?

Well! I don’t know about you, but that was fun! Not only did we come up with a few prompts, but perhaps now you feel inspired as well! I might do this in the future with more of my writing generators not only for fun but to help people get an idea of how to best use them to aid them in coming up with their own ideas as well.

Let me know if you’d be interested & I’ll see ya’ll in the next post!

More Photography Ideas

An Arcade

Arcades, especially at night, can be a flurry of bright, colorful neon lights. This makes them prime photoshoot locations, especially if you want to get a bright, retro vibe.

Cats

Cats are pretty awesome for a lot of reasons. But one thing is for sure- they’re awesome at being photogenic. If you have a cat available, maybe consider taking a few shots with your pet!

Rainbow scarves and accessories

Rainbow accessories create a wonderful pop of color that creates a lovely focal point in your portraits or shots.

Roller Skates

Roller Skates are a great way to give your photoshoot retro vibes! Plus, roller-skating rings tend to have fun, bright neon lighting that also adds to the shots.

Bubbles

Bubbles can make for beautiful, care-free and whimsical looking shoots. Just have your subject blow a cloud of iridescent bubbles that catch the light and you’ve a cute shot!

Mirrors

Mirrors can create an interesting perspective with which you can play with in your shots. They can also contribute to making the photo look more dramatic. The only cons is you’ve gotta make sure that the angle you come at the mirror with, doesn’t reveal you, the photographer, unless that’s a specific affect you want to obtain like in the example above.

Instruments

Yet another item that makes a great focal point for your photos. They also add a sort of classy air to the shoot. My favorite instruments to incorporate are pianos, violins, and guitars.

And that’s all for now! I really enjoy making these posts so I might make some more in the near future! Stay safe during these trying times!

Photoshoot Ideas

I’ve been getting into photography lately, so I wanted to compose a little list of fun little creative ideas for fun portraits and photoshoots! Feel free to let me know if you try any and which your favorite is!

Copper + Teal

Copper and Teal is a lovely color scheme that add nice contrast to your photos. A teal shirt or dress and copper accessories is an easy way to achieve this look and create a striking portrait. Bonus points if a poofy teal ballgown is included.

Chain Link Fences

For a lovely urban feeling collection of photos, try and employ a chain link fence by placing your subject on the other side and letting them pose against it.

Bubblegum

A super fun “prop” can be bubble gum! Just tell your subject to blow and bubble and pose as needed. The pink cna contrast with the backdrop and create a striking color scheme.

Lollipops

An easy way to add a splash of color to your photo!

A Paper-crown

Giving a paper-crown to your subject to wear can create a whimsical and child-like feel for your photo!

Light up Umbrellas

Perfect for making striking night time photos!

Glitter!

Glitter can be a bit of a mess, granted, but you can use it to make some fabulously fun photos!

Red + Blue

Employing the use of both red and blue lighting can create wonderful contrast in a photo and therefore making some very interesting to look at shots!

Sheer

You see it used in wedding photography all the time, but it doesn’t just have to be for that; you can create numerous artsy looking shots by using sheer and clever lighting.

Glasses + Lighting

Get some sparkling shots by putting glasses on your subject and having them pose with a light source of sorts around them. Then you can add reflections and sparkles in the glass of the lenses in editing to create a gleaming photo. I personally recommend the use of fairy lights to achieve this affect.

Evening Poems: Twenty-Something

People rarely say what they are feeling. We mask our hearts in a cloak of quiet.
Why do we stay silent?
But what do I know?
I’m only twenty-something.

We travel around the sun on this floating rock and yet we do not believe in miracles.
When did we let cynicism poison us?
But what do I know?
I’m only twenty-something.

We have forgotten what it means to have faith in something because in the end it all disappoints.
But isn’t that the point of faith?
But what do I know?
I’m only twenty-something.

Rain actually feels quite nice and yet we complain and pull out our coats in annoyance.
Have you forgotten what it feels like?
But what do I know?
I’m only twenty-something.

But someday we will age. And we will regret not allowing our breath to be taken away or not pausing in the downpour or holding our tongues.
Because as we all know,
You will not always be twenty-something.
