Everyone is born with a clock right over their heart. Inevitably, someday it will stop. And that moment will come one the clocks hands have made a full revolution. This is hard for people to handle as I’m sure you can imagine, nearly everyone is aware that one day the ticking will stop and it will be over.
You get into an accident. You’re fine but you wake to the doctors telling you with confusion that your clock has stopped but you are somehow still alive.
A merchant bottles and sells emotions. Emotions like bravery, love, happiness, and so forth. But they have one bottle that they sell that no one has ever bought…
Satan has been demoted from head of the underworld and overthrown by another fallen being. From there he was thrown to earth, trapped in a human shell. Driven mad, he goes on a rampage, murdering tens of people. But he is always careful not to leave evidence linking him to the kills. You are a detective and your job is to prove and convict the literal Devil.
You move into a new apartment only to find weird cryptic writing scrawled on the walls and the smell of smoke perpetually lilting through the place. Turns out the flat is haunted by the ghost of a detective who died before he could solve his case. So, in order to get rid of him, you agree to help him out and fulfill his last wishes.
The seas rose over the US over the course of a 1,000 years, slowly but surely. Civilization became submerged. Many were lost to the flood. As the New York skyline disappeared beneath the waves, the younger generation realized A new age was dawning~ the second age of piracy.
People’s society and status depend on their blood color. White bloods are at the top of the food chain, then blue, purple, then red. You slice your palm one day to find it black in color.
Your parents are dead and you are sent to live with your grandparents when you are a young age. They’re nice enough but they are rather… Peculiar. Nonethless they have a hand in your raising and eventually when you reach middle school age, tell you that they’ve picked a special school for you to attend in your high school years. You don’t give it a second thought until they hand you a pamphlet titled:
“School of crime & thievery”
Turns out your grandparents used to attend said school and wish to send you where you have a choice to major in various classes, the options being:
Thief
Assassin
Pirate
Renegade
Mercenary
Conman
A girl finds out she doesn’t have much longer to live, and will probably die over the course of the next month. So she dedicates a day to each of her friends, engineering the perfect day with them.
You live in a fantasy world named Krysalis that it inhabited by a human like race. They are just like normal people with one exception; they a born with a gem implanted somewhere in their body that enables them to work specific magic, depending on the gem and it’s location. Hand gems imply generally telekinetic like powers while forehead gems imply more telepathic based ones. Gems found on the back generally allow the user to fly or use their magic to create some sort of wings (the kind of wings depend on the gem of course and their magic concentration).
