Hi! I’m Brooke!
I’m a woman in STEM with a tendency to dream far beyond the STEM realm. I’m someone who has unrealistic dreams of being a famous authoress who writes mystery novels. I live on a farm up on a hilltop where the wind likes to mess up my hair and the trees sway poetically in the wind.
I’m a Christian and a lover of oddly specific genres of music, the stories that raised me (forever loyal to Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Narnia), animated films, and pretty much anything Hans Zimmer has ever touched. In my free time, I enjoy lightly tormenting my husband with my guitar practice, scribbling in a gajillion half-finished journals, and diving into bizarre little niche obsessions for promptly abandoning them until the whim hits again years down the road. In fact, one could probably categorize the stages of my life by said obsessions. But, hey! Isn’t that what this blog is for?
