Hi sweet people, thankyou for visiting my latest review post.
Time for some Tropical Love.
I have only recently started incorporating oils & serums into my beauty routine, only a year ago. The reason being is that I had no idea how to use them, on their own? before foundation? after moisturising? before a night cream? Yes, quite clearly I was a virgin oil (pardon the pun).
It wasn’t until I was gifted some amazing products from Lima Natural Skincare, that I became fully aware of their beauty benefits and how enjoyable they are to use, here’s my previous blog post..
Now onto Tropic Skincare
I’ve been really excited to learn about this fab brand and how it all began from humble beginnings back in 2004, of a girl blending products in jam jars and selling at a London Market, inspired by her home roots and the abundance of natural ingredients which surrounded the tropical North Queensland in Australia.
This is why I love writing reviews, not only to trial new products, but to also share the brilliance of brands that make these wonderful products that we all learn to love, happen.
Just look at the golden loveliness of this oil, I know this is only a sample size bottle, but as we all know, an oil can go a long way, with only a few drops needed daily, its given me enough usage to see why its a great oil to use.
I personally only use an oil before bed, after I’ve cleansed & removed makeup and before I’ve applied my moisturiser.
This Elixir omega oil is one of the stronger coloured ones I have tried and works best for me when blended with my moisturiser at the same time, I’m very pale skinned too so using 4 drops with a moisturiser makes for a smoother application and blends into the skin nicely, with that lovely sheen an oil provides, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and replenished, when I awake in the mornings, my skin still has a smooth, refreshed and lovely glow to it. It really does feel like a luxury oil that smells divine.
- Golden Jojoba Oil
- Organic Rosehip Oil
- Plum Kernel Oil
- Moringa Oil
- Pomegranate Oil
- Kiwi Seed Oil
- Vitamin E
- Sunflower Seed Oil
- Rosemary Extract
Just seeing the listed ingredients, it’s clear that alot of thought and care has gone into producing this oil, and I can see why this was an Editors choice in the beauty shortlist awards back in 2017.
